KEDAS in order to achieve its objectives more effectively, cooperates with individuals and corporations as well as local actors in the countries it chooses to provide its services.

OUR HISTORY
The International Solidarity & Cooperation Center – KEDAS was founded in 1996 by a group of scientists, consisting mainly of doctors.
Back in the 60s the founding members of KEDAS decided to actively take part in providing humanitarian aid to populations in need. Africa has been the place where their desire for humanitarian action took place.
KEDAS is responsible for several projects, both ongoing and completed. Among the completed projects, a hospital, four dispensaries and a boarding school in Uganda, owned and administered by the Metropolis of Kampala, Orthodox Church in Uganda, are noteworthy.
Since 2004, our efforts have been focused in Bukoba, Tanzania. There we established a new health center, which boasts technical integrity and autonomy, and is one of the most modern in the region. Ufufuo Health Center is owned and administered by the Metropolis of Mwanza, Orthodox Church in Tanzania under the jurisdiction of the Patriarchate of Alexandria.
Since July 2014 KEDAS created a Community Clinic for heart failure in Athens, Greece (Mikras Asias 67, Goudi).
